NHS Health Check
The NHS Health Check is a free check-up for adults aged 40 to 74 designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and dementia.
It’s offered once every five years and aims to help people take steps to reduce their risk of these common but preventable conditions. During the check, your blood pressure, cholesterol, and BMI are measured, and you’ll be asked about your lifestyle and family history.
If you’re eligible, you may receive an invitation from the Surgery. However, if you haven’t been invited but believe you’re eligible for an NHS Health Check, please contact the Surgery via the following link who can check your eligibility – Contact us about your request – Accurx Patient Portal
